Can I delete all the content of my blog?

  1. I wish to keep the URL but do not wish to continue with that particular idea for a blog
    Blog url: http://ralebron.wordpress.com/

  2. If you do not have a lot of content you can easily delete all blog content by yourself rather than waiting for Staff to do it for you.

If you want to delete all the posts, pages, tags and categories you can use this wordpress plugin. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/empty-wp-blog-or-website/

  4. Please do not post wordpress.org solutions to this wordpress.com support forum.

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install pluings, or upload third-party themes, or edit templates or themes. Those plugins and themes found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/

There is no upgrade you can purchase from WordPress.com that changes anything stated here http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ and restated again here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/#important-notes-before-upgrading

If you want to have a blog you have FTP access to, plugins and/or want to install themes into then you will need to hire a web host and set up your own WordPress.org install. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Thank You for the kind information. Sorry for posting about installing plugin on wordpress.com blog.

  6. You're welcome. Many people are not aware that the two ie. wordpress.com and wordpress.org run on different software. This is a WPMU wordpress multiuser blogging platform.
