can i delete comment boxes?

  1. i want to delete the add comment boxes. my wordpress is the home page of my website and it looks very un professional to have those white boxes / blue text squares popping out. how can i delete them all together?

The blog I need help with is cnvssupplyco.wordpress.com.

  2. You can set the default to disable the comment box as the default for upcoming posts and you can disable the comments in your existing posts. See this help article for how to do it.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

  3. I don't just want to disable allowing people to comment... I want the entire comment box itself gone... That way when it forwards over to my site the box with blue text saying "add a comment" or "leave a comment" or whatever it is isn't there at all. It looks terrible on the site. I tried to disable it earlier today but it appears that tab is still there

  4. You successfully disabled comments on Posts. Now you need to disable them on Pages.

This page > Settings > Discussion
Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/

We can also override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

Note 1: By default, new blogs on WordPress.com will have the Discussion hidden. You can reveal it by clicking on Screen Options http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ on the top right corner of your Admin page, and checking the box that says Discussion so the module is included. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules

    Pages - Bulk Closure
Go to Pages > All Pages, click the little square to select all the pages, select "Edit" from the Bulk Actions pulldown, click Apply, select "Do not allow" from the Comments pulldown, click Update.
