Can I modify the header with my current template to contain our logo?

Rather than have text in our header, I want to use our Logo. Every time I try to modify the header with a logo, it makes me crop the logo to a standard size that won’t work because it cuts off. Do I need to have the logo modified to be a certain dimension for this work? Or can we do something to the code that allows the header to be just our logo (and keep our original size logo).

Hopefully this makes sense.

The header image for your theme would need to be 956 × 160 pixels.

You can use your own image editor to have more control over how it’s adjusted before uploading.
