   I am currently running the Sapphire template. I've noticed that I'm unable to use the dark blue background surrounding the blog template. I am new to CSS and can't understand it for the life of me. Am I able to apply images (banners, etc) to the dark blue background or will I need to find another template to do this. None of the templates that I like are big enough to fit banner adds in the sidebars. I'd like to be able to use the full page if possible.

   Your wordpress user name is not linked to a wordpress.com blog. Are you hosted here or self-hosted? Please provide a link to your wordpress.com blog.
