Can I stop WordPress' "follower" promos?

    WordPress keeps a very large window over the right hand corner of my blog, virtually forcing the reader to subscribe as a follower. How can I get that to stop?

    You can turn this off at Settings > Reading in your Dashboard. Check out the "Show follow button to logged out users." option.
