I want to link to a point further down the page (it is a very long listings post), but I can't seem to use the html.
Many thanks

There are several ways we can split content in posts and pages. It sounds like what you want to create is a page jump (anchor) link. See here > Links to specific points on a page
Thanks so much. This is exactly what I want, but when I put it in and then do a preview I can still the html. I went to the link you recommended and copied the html exactly, but still no joy. Any suggestions?
Panos is precise when he provides instructions. I suggest you go back to that post and read the instructions again very carefully.
When you use the post preview, you are previewing the single-post page. The "more" tag will only show up on the main blog page, categories, tags and archives pages.
Wait, never mind my comment.
If you can see the code when previewing the post, then you've pasted the code in the Visual editor instead of the HTML editor.
