Can I use WordPress.com in China if I have a custom url?

    I am moving to China in February 2013, and would like to continue with my existing blog and also to start a second blog to keep family and friends updated of my life in China.

    My current blog has a custom url, and I would intend to get a custom url for the new blog as well. However, before I go purchasing another domain name I thought that I should check that a custom url will be sufficient for me to be able to use wordpress.com in China.

    Also, if this won't help me to get around the firewall issue, would it help matters any if I were to start using wordpress.org?

    The blog I need help with is makeupandmirtazapine.com.

    It will not help. I'm sorry but China blocks WordPress.com and there's nothing we can do about that. I don't know if WordPress.org blogs which are hosted by many different hosts are blocked or not.
