Can I use WordPress.com to sell my own products?

  1. Hi

I've been reading the T&Cs and one thing I'm not totally clear on is whether it's allowed to use wordpress.com to sell your own products (as opposed to things that are obviously not allowed like MLM and pay per click).

If someone could clear that up for me I'd be very grateful!

The blog I need help with is sailingtoavalon.wordpress.com.

  2. Do you make the products yourself? Or do you pay someone else to make them?

  3. Hi there,

Like Raincoaster says, it will depend on what exactly you're planning. You can see this list of approved and not-allowed blogs here:
    http://en.wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/

Just let us know what you're thinking of, and we'll let you know!

    Cheers!

  4. I'm not seeing a "product" option in my side bar to use. I read that you can add plugins, but that's not their either. The site is meant to sell my mother's homemade items.

  5. You are clearly reading instructions relating to WordPress.ORG instead of this, which is WordPress.COM. Don't. They have nothing to do with the way this site works.

  6. I realized that all too late then. I'm going to try & get my money back. Thanks for your reply.
