Can Main Nav be the Categories?

  1. My WP.com blog "JosephDarnell.com" (also known as josephdarnell.wordpress.com) has a main nav of the pages I've create at the top just below my header image. I also use categories for posts.

I would like the main nav to be the categories and provide links to the pages in a widget on the side column. Is there a way to make categories the top nav? Maybe a work around? Any help would be appreciated.

The blog I need help with is josephdarnell.com.

  2. There is a workaround, but it is not supported by all themes:

  3. iNove has that feature, I think.

  4. Thanks for the help! I use the theme Vigilance, which according to the link you gave, works fine with this work around.

  5. Um, Husdal, the workaround let's categories appear in the top navigation. How do I hide pages from the top navigation I want listed in a widget in the side column?

  6. Thanks a bunch!
