Can not see my blog on the web

    Hi,
    I registered and activated my blog and started to add themes, pages etc.
    But I can not find my blog on the world wide web?
    So, if I search in Google, my blog name does not come up.
    Is there any extra procedure to follow before my blog is visible on the WWW?

    Your blog is 1 day old, and you have nothing but test pages on it.
    What do you have for a search engine to find?

    You must write interesting content, categorized and tagged properly, and do it consistently to build readership. Once you get started, it could take as long as 6 to 8 weeks for Google to index your site.

    I guess I misunderstood something,
    I am planning to build up a blog with a website appearance.
    So, 5 to 6 pages containing different information about an event that we are organizing.
    Then, send all my friends an invitation to come and look at the my blog (a link to my blog) and get much more information regarding the event.

    Is it possible with worldpress.com?
