Can the search box be removed/hidden?

  1. I want to add a large number of pages (about 10) to my blog. My theme is "Mistylook" which is working well for me, except that the search box will cover at least one of the page tabs. How can I remove or hide the search box? I looked for ways to do it through the dashboard etc, but I couldn't find anything.

The blog I need help with is scottfogdall.wordpress.com.

  2. You can't remove that search box unless you buy the paid CSS upgrade. What you can do is either turn most of your pages into child pages (only parent pages show up in the top nav menu) or switch to another theme.

  3. Misty now supports the custom menu, so you child pages can show up in dropdowns below the parent.

  4. Thanks Rich, forgot to menton that.

  5. Welcome.
