I am just trying to help my Blogger friends keep from having to enter their email each time they comment yet keep the comments from being anonymous. Can they sign in using Open ID like I can at Blogger? It isn't that big of a deal but I think it's a little annoying to have to enter your email every time. Then if I turn that off I will have anonymous comments, which I don't want. Maybe I should just suck it up and allow them.

Can wordpress.com use Open ID for comments?
you can use openid with wp.com, just make sure you're logged in before you make a comment with openid.
I'd answer the original question with a "no." Wp.com doesn't recognize OpenID as the identity of a commenter.
oh, i read the question wrongly. andrew is correct.
