   Im quite new to the whole blog thing and website domains/hosts.

   i run a music blog and it has escalated so im getting a lot of traffic. i would like to put adsense on my blog and have a few plugins and it seems the only way i can do that is by having my own host and domain and use wordpress 2.5 which has plugins? is this right?

   so i was wondering is there anyway of transferring all my comments,theme, posts and stats from my freeblog on http://www.thatdj.wordpress.com onto a host with domain such as http://www.thatdj.co.uk that will allow me to run it using wordpress 2.5???

   You can do that. See this FAQ entry for transferring the posts (and comments):

   http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/12/24/how-do-i-move-between-blogs/

   You will need to add stats, themes and some other functionality on your own.
