cancel domain name

    I need to cancel this domain. I have a domain registered http://www.not-looking.com at GoDaddy. This was an error. since the wordpress staff is on vacation there isnt anyone I can talk to. Suggestions? Ideas? thanks a lot.

    The blog I need help with is notlookingdotcom.wordpress.com.

    Hi. If the domain name was registered through GoDaddy, what do you want WordPress.com to cancel? The domain mapping from WordPress.com?

    You need to deal with Godaddy since the registration was done with them today. On the domain name itself.

    Or are you asking about the strange spelling on the blog linked to your name?

    If you don't like the spelling on the name linked to your name just register a new blog and set the old one to Private and use the old blog name to practice with.

    I created a blog on your site: [email redacted]; however, what I need to do is download WordPress so I can link it to my URL. So basically, in the meantime, I'm hoping you can help me delete the blog I've created on your site so far, so I can start over?

    What you need to do is contact GoDaddy directly, as we said before.

    And there is no need to delete the WordPress.com website to "start over". Just leave it there, as auxclass said.

    I asked you a question earlier on...

    If the domain name was registered through GoDaddy, what do you want WordPress.com to cancel? The domain mapping from WordPress.com?

    ...but did not get a clear response, so let me reword it: has WordPress.com charged you for anything? Or did the charges only come from GoDaddy?

    If you want WordPress.com to refund you something, please be very clear about what it's about (specify the amount and, if possible, the name of the upgrade). Otherwise, staff has nothing to work with.
