Hello!
24 hours have gone by since I mistakenly signed up with WordPress.com instead of WordPress.org. I didn't realize they were two separate entities. Yesterday I also registered for Bluehost.com and uploaded WordPress through them--Wordpress.org. Still thinking I wasn't making a mistake, I set the domain name using BlueHost.com as the one I registered for WordPress.com. Now I know my mistake. My WordPress.org site, through Bluehost.com, is attached to the WordPress.com domain name, so I cannot edit it to build my site. I love my domain name and want to keep it.
I want to cancel the WordPress.com registration I have. I contacted customer support twice about this but I have not received any communication from them, nor have I even got an automated email from them stating that they got my cancel request. I don't know if anyone has received my message so I am freaking about a little bit. Is there a phone number I can call?
Can a happiness engineer please help? I don't want to lose the chance to reclaim my domain name from WordPress.com and use it for my WordPress.org site. 24 hours have gone by and time is of the essence, as they say.
Thanks so much for your help...whomever decides to help me out!
