Cannot access admin/dashboard after activating theme

  1. Hi- I activated a new theme that my blog doesn't seem to like. I cannot access my admin page, and instead get:

    "Not Found

The requested URL /wp-admin/ was not found on this server."

when I attempt to access dashboard/admin to deactivate the theme. Thank you in advance for any help.

The blog I need help with is dalybeauty.ca.

  2. The blog you specified at dalybeauty.ca does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.

  3. Yes it is hosted by wordpress.com

    http://wordpress.com/#!/my-blogs/

  4. dalybeauty.ca. is hosted on .domainsatcost not WordPress.COM

    Do you have Jetpack installed?

But at any rate - we need the base WordPress.COM blog that you need help with to give you accurate help (your-site.wordpress.com - or equivilent)

  5. Oh! I just signed up for hosting today! I didn't realize that it would take effect immediately. I don't know what to do.

  6. Can I suspend my hosting until this is fixed? Problem started this morning, before I called domainsatcost.ca

  7. As the supportbot indicated you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG for you self hosted account at domainsatcost.ca

they can help you with getting rid of a them that has crashed your blog - fairly simple and only takes a few minutes - common issue

  8. Yikes - ok. Thank you.
