Cannot edit the home page

  1. Hello everyone,

I'm relatively new to WordPress although I've used it in years past. I've inherited a Web Page for a hotel that uses Word Press and I'm having trouble editing the homepage. The home page is not located under the "pages" tab. I've read other posts of people who were having this same problem and the solution seemed to be to create a new home page and make it the "static home page". The only problem is I don't want to have to recreate the homepage, I'm simply wanting to edit some text on the home page.

    Any help would be appreciated.
