Cannot embed youtube videos

    My blog is http://www.ottawamindfulnessclinic.wordpress.com

    I am trying to embed a video from http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=K4BJYkL7TYc

    I tried the shortcode as well.

    I followed the instructions on how to embed videos (I have always been able to on my other blog 108zenbooks.com but have not be able to recently) but it isnot working. I only get a link to the video but not the embedded form itself.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi, When you are adding a new post with a video, Click the Video Icon. Once it appears make sure you click the Video URL text box. Type the full URL,(Including http and www portion) It will show up as just a link until it is published.

    Just double checked with mine. Let me know if it's still not working.

    Can we add amination to text, picture, icon? Any place I can find the information?

    Please don't post off-topic into existing threads. Please start your own threads when you can find one that is on the topic you are focused on.

    Yes, we can post animated images .gif images. http://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/ However, they must be presized to the exact size before uploading them into your blog. If you don't presize them and use the cropper then then the resized animated gif's will not play, they will only be a static image.

    Thank you, lexornelas & timethief. It worked!

    In Chrome: I clicked on the "camera" icon which opened a window "Add Media" -> from URL -> toggle Audio, Video -> pasted code into box. That came up with a red X but I inserted anyway and it worked. Go figure!

    I am actually having the same problem, but in my case when I inserted the link via the Media button as instructed above, the video still shows up as a hyperlink to youtube and is not embedded directly into the post. Can anyone help?

    Not without a link to your blog and the exact link to the video you were using.
