   Something has seriously changed in the last two days. I usually add the tag < big > (without spaces) to increase font size, but now, when I migrate between text editor and visual editor it disappears. My one blog theme has a very small default type size, so I need to do this on a regular basis, but two other blogs are also being affected. It only works when I post directly from text editor; and if I have to return to make a change, I lose that tag again. The HTML for italics and bold face seems to be unaffected.

   The blog I need help with is paulwilkinson.wordpress.com.

   These are ways to change font sizes in WordPress.com blogs.
   (1) Changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the HTML (Text) editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/

   (2) Changing all font families, colors and sizes throughout the whole blog by purchasing an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and using Typekit Fonts with Staff support. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

   But there have been some changes in the last two days, right?

   So you're saying that " < big > " no longer works and I have to " span style font = large " (without spaces)?

   I just tried copying and pasting the exact code from the first link into another blog that's being affected and when I updated, all that code disappeared.
