cannot get my domain mapped to my blog

  1. i bought a domain with godaddy.com, tried to have it mapped to my blog, talked to godaddy. com support, n did the nameserver thing, godaddy.com support told me that the nameserver mapping is bouncing back, what did i do wrong or dis i miss steps

The blog I need help with is heatheryowell.wordpress.com.

  2. yes i did, do i need to type in e-mail from godaddy.com

  3. What is the domain name you are trying to map?

  4. If you are going to have your email hosted for your custom domain name at Godaddy (extra charge by Godaddy I think) - you will need the instructions below

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-godaddy-email/

  5. my domain name is heathersreikiforanimals

  6. .com is at the end

  7. If you mean heathersreikiforanimals.com - there does not seem to be any domain mapping active

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

Were you charged for the domain mapping ( $ 13.--)?

Do you see the domain mapping at?

Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades
    or
Dashboard >> Store >> Billing History

  8. heathersreikiforanimals.com, does it make it a difference if it is underscored n all capitals

  9. i was charged at godaddy.com, do i need to pay for the mapping through wordpress.com

  10. Godaddy charged you for at a minimum the domain name registration (some people also use their Registrar for custom email)

Yes you also need to pay WordPress.COM for the domain mapping using the instructions I posted above
