WordPress recognizes my login as it sends me the password change screen however on changing password it then informs me that it does not recognise my username login which is the email it contacts me through. Am now going round in circles and have created this new blog to enable access to some info as to why I cant get into my blog. it is available on front screen but cannot access to edit/change etc.
The blog I need help with is mmorg3.wordpress.com.
How many username accounts do you have? Are you attempting to log-in under the exact same username account that registered the blog and is Admin of the blog? if you are then try enetering the email address associated with the blog rather than your username.

Please try entering the email address the blog is associated with, rather than entering your username and see if that works for you.
Thanks for reply. I have only one username account which i registered the blog with and is also admin this is also the email associated with the blog. Both email and username have been working ok but now will not. Have tried changing password with no effect. Have tried routes you suggest to no avail, what next as I do not really want to create a new blog. Mopelia.me is my blog which I can view but cannot edit.
hi i also am having the same problem with another account which i paid for a .com rather than a wordpress.com url. i have put alot into it and now have no way of keeping it up to date. it is my main website for business as well.
I too am going around in circles changing passwords via the email address yet not being able to log in never the less. then it goes on to give me a confusing paragraph about wordpress.com and wordpress.org
has it been hacked?
mmorg3 has never been a user on http://mopelia.me/ so that is definitely the wrong account. As for the account you're trying to access, please note that we no longer allow the email address to be used as a login for some accounts. You should see a notice about this, but regardless please try your username instead, not your email address.
intotheunknowncollaboration, the only blog on your WordPress.com account is http://intotheunknowncollaboration.wordpress.com/ Is that the blog you're trying to access? If not, what is the URL of the blog you're trying to access?

perhaps the problem is that i can no longer use my email but when i get the email to my email address to change the password it shows my user name (i think) and when i try with this it still doesn't work.
i will try now once again.

You need to be logged in with the correct account.
hi macmanx, my problem seems now to be resolved after much frustration, I think it stemmed from poor internet connections as I am currently in Morocco where comms are not always good. many thanks for support
