Cannot post blogs...account merged with old account?

  1. It is not letting me chose which blog, since this account that I am apparently signed into (rain2bow) no longer has my blog (charlottehufschmidt.com) posted on it. My username when I established this website was (charlotte), yet now when I tried to log in with the set up password, it said it was incorrect. When I asked to have password emailed to me it sent the "rain2bow" username and a new password. When I logged in, my blog was no longer there. I spent roughly 8 man hours setting up this website prior to my one month 4 country vacation, and now I am in Colombia, with a whole slew of friends and family waiting for my blogs and I cannot post any of them. Very disappointing. Even worse, support is gone until the 19th, half my vacation and blogs will have passed by then.

If anyone can please offer any feedback or help on how to post some blogs, please let me know. I am already limited in internet access, so having to spend time to trouble shoot a blog I worked so hard to put together is heartbreaking.

Please help. Thank you in advance.

  2. You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you'll find help at the WordPress.org forums.

If you don't understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It'll help people to answer your question.

    This is an automated message.

  3. Of course this would be the case...

Here is the link to my blog:

    http://charlottehufschmidt.com

    Thank you!

    :) Charlotte

  4. Charlotte, since that is a self-hosted blog, it is in no way connected with wordpress.COM in any meaningful way. It may have appeared in your dashboard here if you had the blogstats or Akismet plugins, but that was only due to the API key needed for those.

For http://charlottehufschmidt.com/ you need to sign in with the name and password that was given to you when that blog was set up, and sign in at this link.

    http://charlottehufschmidt.com/wp--login.php

And in the future, as the supporbot says, you need to inquire over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ for support on self-hosted blogs.
