Cannot see "Header" in Dashboard of Hemmingway Rewritten theme

  1. I am using Hemmingway Rewritten theme, and I want to change the position of that big black box with my title text in it, (which I assume is the Header) however under "Dashboard > Appearance > ....." I do not have "Header" as one of the options. Another user indicated to me that normally in this theme there is the option of "Header" in that area.
Any thoughts about why I cannot see it?
I have tried using a different browser to go to my page and see if the Header option appears, but no luck.

  2. Do you have the Custom Design Upgrade? If you don't, you will not be able to alter the appearance of themes that, like this one, do not have the Custom header option.

  3. Thanks for that.
I don't have the custom design upgrade, but when I searched for themes I selected Custom Header in the filter and Hemingway Rewritten was in the results.
I would be happy to go ahead and get the upgrade, but I would need certainty that it was going to be useful to me.
Ideally I'd like to be able to move the position of that black box and change the opacity of it too.

  4. I just transferred the Sixteen Seven theme to one of my sites.
There is something wrong with the format. I don't see a header at the top of the page and ordinary menus don't show. I made a widget menu and put it in a sidebar.
Can someone tell me how to get back to the default format?
    Thanks
