Can't Access Dashboard After Update

    Earlier today I did the automatic update for WordPress and now I'm unable to access my dashboard. Has anyone else experienced this same problem, or know of a fix?

    My dashboard link is: number-a.com/blog/wp-admin/post.php

    But now it takes me to here: http://number-a.com/blog/wp-admin/upgrade.php?_wp_http_referer=%2Fblog%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php

    I am not very WP savvy, which is why I do the automatic updates, so any help in layman's terms would be appreciated.

    Scroll to the footer here http://www.number-a.com/blog locate the "Powered by WordPress" links and click it. You are posting to thw rong support forum we cannot help you here with a WordPress.org iste. You have to post ot http://wordpress.org/support/ to get help with that site and any other WordPress.org site. Best wishes with your site.

    If you are referring to a free hosted wordpress.com blog then know that the recommednation is for one Admin per blog. You will have to wait until you get an invitation.

    I'm having a similar problem and can't access my dashboard either. My blog is http://www.bathedbynatureblog.com/ and it is hosted by wordpress.com
    I use a mac and have tried with Firefox and Safari with no luck

    @bathedbynature have you been able to find a fix? I don't understand what people are saying about one Admin per blog - I'm the only admin and always have been.

    no I didn't find a fix but I'm on my work computer now, also a mac, and just logged in and now I CAN get to my dashboard. Weird. I'm check my home computer too. Maybe the bug is only on my home computer (a mac also).

    I repeat that you are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here. Go here http://wordpress.org/support and on the top right hand corner of that page you can register a WordPress.org username account so you can post to the correct support forum for your software.

    Interesting, because when I try to log in to WordPress.org, it doesn't recognize my user name. When I log in here it does. That would lead me to believe that our account is through wordpress.com. Am I incorrect and do I still need to register with .org?

    This blog is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog http://www.number-a.com/blog Go to the fotter of that blog and find thei "proudly powered by WordPress" link and click it. You arrive here http://wordpress.org/
    I repeat that you do need to register a username account at WordPress.org and post to the correct support forum for your software.
