I recently switched my blog from a sub-domain to an addon domain.
One of the files was missing and produced an error message when I tried to open the site, but I have now downloaded it and the error message has ceased.
Now when I try to open the site, all I get is a blank page.

You're at the wrong site as it appears that you're not hosted here at wp.com but at bluehost. There's nothing we can do here to help you I'm afraid.
When you do post over at wp.org, please give specifics. You mention a file missing and an error message but don't list them. Only my ex assumed that folks were supposed to read her mind. You may also want to check the error logs for errors and make sure that the database information is correct.
