   If you look me up on Google, the first thing that comes up is my blog. Look at the description underneath the link. That was the description I first wrote up when I started it years ago (maybe even when it was on blogspot). Any idea how I change it? The solutions I've seen so far don't work - there is no "description" field, for instance, in settings/general.

   The blog I need help with is morphemetales.wordpress.com.

   Hi. Some search engines like Google take your description directly from a directory called DMOZ. Proof of that:
   http://www.google.com/search?q=%22Contains+unpublished+journalism+on+mainly+international+topics+as+well+as+in-depth+discussion+of+other+issues.%22&pbx=1&oq=%22Contains+unpublished+journalism+on+mainly+international+topics+as+well+as+in-depth+discussion+of+other+issues.%22

   So you'd have to contact DMOZ directly. This is completely outside of our scope of assistance.
