I started a blog a while ago but the theme is giving me an itch! The look I am trying to go for is around the following:

http://www.economist.com/
http://www.nationalgeographic.com/
but most preferably http://www.foreignaffairs.com/
The website I am working on is at experimentalthought.com
I would really appreciate it if someone could suggest paid or free themes that would fit the style I am looking for.

Free hosted WordPress.com blogs are the only blogs we provide support for on these WordPress.com support forums. That site is NOT a free hosted wordpress.com blog and you are posting to the wrong support forum.
Support for your website software and any advice you need are provided on the WordPress.org support forums and they are here http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don't have a username account at WordPress.org, click that link and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the correct support forums for your software.
