can't get paypal button

    I paid for the upgrade to link my .com url to my WP account. I now have no access to plug ins...I can't seem to get a paypal button. every time i copy the paypal code into the text of my page it scrubs it and I can't generate the button. Did i make a mistake in getting a WP.com instead of WP.org....I am lost. HElp?????

    We don't allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org. You can find out more about this topic here: http://support.wordpress.com/plugins/

    However, you can add a PayPal button following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
