Can't leave comments on blogs

    Hello,

    I saw that this was discussed previously and then closed, however I still can't figure it out.

    I am currently logged into wordpress and I STILL can't leave comments. What gives? Every time I try to comment on another wordpress site I get the following: ERROR: Invalid email or username. Lost your password?

    No. I haven't lost my password. I've changed it a million times now, and my email and username isn't invalid, and I know this because...uhm....I'm logged in. It says "hello Kelly" in the top corner for goodness sakes.

    It's really frustrating not to be able to leave comments on the blogs I read. And, maybe I'm stupid - but why can't you access your reader from your own blog's dashboard? Or can you? I don't understand why I have to log in to wordpress in a separate window to look at my reader. That in itself was annoying, but not being able to post comments on my friend's blogs is infuriating.

    Please help. I know I am logged in. I can see that I'm logged in. So why is wordpress telling me I'm not and am invalid? :(

    Yeah, that's the thread I read. It doesn't answer my question though. I get an error message when I try to post. I can't post, because wordpress says I'm not logged in. But I am logged in. I'm logged in right now!

    This doesn't happen to me on all blogs (so far) just a few. WordPress just refuses to believe I am already logged in!

    Specifically, what is the URL of the blog you're trying to comment on, and what username or email address are you entering?

    Hm, you should be able to post there without issue. Would you please try clearing your browser's cookies and cache?

    I just tried to post (haven't cleared my cookies or cache) and it let me. Weird, but good. Hopefully it'll continue to work! Thanks for your help. :)
