can't remove extra space around images

  1. Hello WP Support!

    I'm visually impaired. I can only use the text editor.

    Whenever I include an image in a post, it's 6 pixels wider and higher than it oughta be.

    I tried editing the HTML source and including style="border:0" in the <img ... /> tag which chopped two pixels off the width and height, but the images are still 4 pixels wider and higher than they should be.

    Please advise. My theme is Iceburgg and my blog is at:

    http://sbjh.wordpress.com/

    Any help appreciated!

    The blog I need help with is sbjh.wordpress.com.

  2. Me Again!

    To answer my own question, it turned out that the padding was the peccant part. After a little trial and error, I came up with:

    <p style="text-align:center;"><img src="pic.gif"
    style="border:0;padding:0;width:240px;height:180px;" /></p>

    Et voila! No more invisible space around my images. Of course, results are theme-dependent and your mileage may vary.
