Can't see annual report because of two-step authentication?

  • I recently installed two-step authentication. I click on the link to see my annual report, I log in, then input the authentication code from my phone app, per its request, and it sends me back to log in again…over and over. Authentication is working for both the iphone and ipad apps with no problem…not sure what I’m doing wrong or if it’s a bug.

  • Have you tried logging into WordPress.com first, and then clicking on that link?

    Also, are you trying to access your report from a computer or a mobile device? If you tried to do this on a mobile device, please let me know which kind of device, and let me know if you are able to access it from a computer.

  • Interesting…OK, originally, I tried to log in on my computer (PC), and I was already logged into WordPress.com (I even logged out and logged back in to make sure), but that’s when it didn’t work. I just tried it on the iPad though, and the verification process worked. I did just try it again on my computer, and it still won’t let me in, so I don’t know what’s up with that, but I can see it on the iPad. Hope that helps.

  • Have you tried logging out of WordPress.com on the computer, clearing your browser cache, and logging back in? Sometimes that helps.

    Are you having any issues using WordPress.com otherwise? In other words, is this issue restricted to just viewing the annual report?

  • Nope, still didn’t work. I’m having no other issues with WP on any device, and since I was able to view it using the iPad, I’m cool with your closing the topic :-). Thanks…

  • I’m really sorry you ran into this issue then. I’m glad you were able to sort it out with your iPad. I’ll close this thread, but I’ll still keep an eye on this issue, in case others have similar problems in the next couple of days.
