I am trying to upload a custom header to my new blog and it keeps saying that the file does not meet security guidelines! It is a photoshop file & I have no idea why it is doing this or how to fix it! Can anyone help?!?

Can't upload custom header

If it's still a photoshop file, it's probably either because of the file size or the file extention.
Try saving it as a *.jpg or *.png and try uploading that.

What is the format of the file? You say it's "photoshop", does that mean it's in PSD format (native to photoshop)?
If it is then you will need to do a "File > Save As" in Photoshop and save the picture as a JPEG (JPG) file.
The custom image uploader only handles the JPG format as it is universally recognised and supported.
I hope this helps.

EDIT: And Dr Mike beat me to it...

Well, I couldn't come up with the name of the file extention.
I thought we could do *.pngs and *.gifs as well?

Thanks sooo much! Saving it as a JPEG file did the trick!! I am pretty new at Photoshop and didn't realize that you would need to change the PSD format! You all ROCK!!!

Nice Work. Glad you got it sorted.
@Dr Mike: I don't know, I'll go check...

Right, a quick test as I could find nothing in the FAQ. It will accept png, gif and jpg files. :)

Glad you got it working. Gotta admit that I'm a Paint Shop Pro person myself.
I'm using a *.png over on the webcomic. Granted I'm now doing it via a CSS add but I was uploading it before hand.
