Since last week I've been able to move/add widgets on my blog. The Screen Options & Help buttons aren't working either.
Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance.

    Kirsten.

The blog I need help with is isisimaginings.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi there,
It sounds like you may have a browser issue to me.

    (1) How you are connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.

    (2) Exactly which browser and version of it are you using. If you don’t know click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/

These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:
clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/
confirming third party cookies is enabled http://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=61416
    confirming JavaScript is enabled http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654
confirming Flash is updated http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and if required installing the latest version of Flash http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
resetting your router and modem and rebooting your computer
then logging in using the secure https:// log-in see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
    trying another browser

Hello, thank you so much for responding so quickly. It was a cookies problem. At some stage Tracking Protection was turned on & I didn't notice - very stupid of me. I've turned it off & all is back to normal.
    Thanks again.

  4. I'm so glad you worked through this and found the cause and resolved the issue. Best wishes with your blog. :) Will you please enter the top of this thread and mark it "resolved"?

I',m wondering if this might be my reader problem as well? I upgraded to the newer version of internet explorer the day after I set my blog up following a prompt from WordPress.

Hi, there are two things you can try:
    1. Look at the top of your browser, where the website is. There's a circle with a line through it. If that's lit blue, tracking protection is turned on. Click on Turn Off Tracking Protection.

    2. Select Internet Options in Tools. Click on the Privacy tab, select Sites. Type in the WordPress address & click Allow. Click OK, etc.

You may have to close the page/restart computer for the second option.

    Hope this helps.
