categorie only on the sidebar not in the blue line

  1. I´ve made a music categorie in the sidebar called index, but the bands in the index also appear as links in the blue line on top of the blog. How can i remove them from the blue line, and let them only appear in the sidebar ?

How can i remove the whole blue line from the blog ?

And how can i put then a jpg logo instead, where now the title from my blog Record*Facts is placed ?

I hope someone can help me with this

    Grtz

  2. The site linked to your username has been deleted. It would be nice to have a link to that, but I'll just answer generally instead of specifically.

You can switch to the iNove theme which gives you the option under appearance > theme options to hide tags and categories.

In some themes, if you have a little CSS experience you can get the Custom Design upgrade and then hide them via CSS, but this cannot be done in all themes. In some themes all of the post metadata (author, date, categories, tags, and the comment link) are all under one selector so it is all or nothing. Since I can't see your site, and since I don't know which theme you are using, that is the best I can do.

  3. This is the result of clicking your username:

    vinylfacts.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this blog.

Please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question so we can bein to help you. Also note that if your are referring to a free hosted WordPress.com blog than these things cannot be done without (1) CSS editing experience and (2) purchasing an annually renewable custom design upgrade. :

  6. I'm sorry but Your theme is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. When you purchased it what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer. Go here > Appearance > Themes and click the “premium” link you find there to the Premium Themes Forum please.
