Categories, tags and syndicated posts no longer working

    Last Friday (Australian time) I discovered that there are no longer any counts attached to established categories or tags in our blog except for those associated with syndicated posts.

    The categories and tags have been in operation on this blog since it was created in late 2012 and there have been no issues. As admin I was logged into the blog when we had a computer downtime for several hours across our campus and now this has gone crazy :S

    The only categories and tags with counts are associated with syndicated posts from the blogs we follow, however these have disappeared too and are no longer listed as syndicated feeds.

    I have tried adding categories and tags to existing posts and new posts. However when you next view the posts and menu, these have not saved though all the other content has.

    Also the format of the page is not looking as it should with the menu at the bottom right of the screen and syndicated posts displaying at the top right. Have never knowingly requested this setup!

    Help!!! How do I get back to my Thursday setup?
