   Hi all,

   I am maintaining a blog in wordpress for last one year. I am writing articles and verses in Tamil. I have fixed 5 categories. When I select a category, it shows the excerpts from last four as per I defined in "Reading" menu "Blog pages show at most". But even I have selected "Full Text" only excerpts appears through category. But it looks very odd for "Verses" category. It removes all line breaks and make the whole verse as one paragraph.

   Is is possible to make the full text view in the "categories" also?

   Please help me to solve this

   The "full" or "summary" setting at settings > reading only has to do with the RSS feed. Whether summaries, full text or just the titles is shown on the archives, categories and tags pages is dependent on the theme itself.

   thanks for your reply. Beginning itself I thought it would be related to Theme. But I tried various themes, even I cannot able to get rid of this problem. So that I raised question in this forum. After your reply, I got confirmed with my doubt. Now I found a theme "Contempt by Michael Heilemann" it works well as per you said.
