Hi, found out how to change blog address. Question is: if I move my content from one site address to another, will my followers move too or will they need to re-follow at the new address? Any help welcome.
The blog I need help with is edvisits.wordpress.com.
Please let us know the address of your old blog, and we will transfer the subscribers to your new blog.
Hi kardotim, thanks for the reply. What I'm thinking of is to move my blog and followers from edvisits.wordpress.com to educationalvisits.wordpress.com (I have both registered under my username). Would it be best to first export/import the content and files, make sure they working properly, then ask you to transfer the subscribers when that's done (do you move then from one to the other or do you copy them across so they're on both sites?). Keen to understand/get the process right before doing anything.
Yes, it might be best to first transfer your contact and then contact us again to request the subscribers transfer.
