   Hi there and apologies because this question has been asked a few times already.

   I am confused because I am not sure if the others are asking the same thing as me. I have the blog hosted on my own server, not on wordpress and that's why what I read already doesn't seem to be the same for me.

   I have the blog on: http://www.mydomain.com/wordpress and this works fine but I want to change it to blog.mydomain.com

   Is this just pure DNS settings on the server settings (like adding an A record) or is it an IIS redirect issue, or is it a wp_config setting too.
   I am not sure if it's one of the above or a combination of the above.

   The blog I need help with is fineenergy.wordpress.com.

   I have the blog on: http://www.mydomain.com/wordpress and this works fine but I want to change it to blog.mydomain.com

   You also have a blog here - BUT - for your blog that is not hosted here please see below -

   The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

   Oh right, didn't realise they're different.
