change color in Contempt menu bar?

  1. I've played with every color code in my CSS and still cannot figure out how to remove the gray from the menu bar beneath my header (I'd like it to be white).

    Any suggestions as to what I'm missing?

    Blog theme: Contempt
    Blog URL: http://takeahikeblog.wordpress.com/

    Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is takeahikeblog.wordpress.com.

  2. The gray gradient below the menu bar is a background image. I don't think that is removable or CSS-able.

  3. The grey gradient in the nav bar can be removed via CSS - which will leave it white. Do the following in your CSS

    #pagebar {
    background: none !important;
    }
  4. Thank you, SP.

    Do you happen to know what that space below the pagebar is called (it's still gray)?

    Thanks!
