Change date display into comment display

  1. Hi,

    I'm using Skeptical theme and on the left side of each post you can see 2 options: date, and add comment.
    I'd like to change it so that I'd have only 'add comment' instead of date, and delete the date together with the box at the bottom.

    How can I do that?

    I'd appreciate your help :)
    Thanks

    The blog I need help with is naszetrendy.wordpress.com.

  2. First off, it isn't a good idea at wordpress.com to paste the entire stylesheet into the CSS edit window because it breaks the relative URLs to all the images called in the CSS file. At wordpress.com, it is better to put in only the specific selectors, and the specific declarations that you are adding or changing and make sure the "add to existing..." selection is active. This has the added benefit of making it far easier to find and see the changes you have made to the CSS.

    .post .post-meta .post-date {
    display: none;
    }

    What box at the bottom?

  3. thank you very much Thesacredpath :) looks so much better.
    I'd also like to keep that triangle that made the comments pointing to the post (as in default Sceptical theme).
    Do you know how to do that?

  4. The featured and date blocks to the left have a separate HTML element that holds that triangle where the comment block does not. I'm pretty sure I can do this, but it is going to take a little bit to figure it out. Let me work on it after I get back from my errands.

  5. That would be just great. Can't wait :)

  6. Wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten you. I'll work on this this morning (morning to me here in the middle of the Pacific) for you.

  7. Nice to know that you remember. Thanks for letting me know :)
