Change Mobile CSS Settings, Sight Theme

  1. Hi there,

I have hidden the site title and description by making it 0% opaque. I did this because I found that when I simply hid it, the link no longer worked. This fix has worked fine on the web and tablet applications, but for some reason it's still showing on mobile. It also shows up as black, even though the colour is set to white. I'm told that the Mobile CSS is uneditable. Please confirm if there's anything I can do.

    Thanks!

  2. The mobile theme has separate CSS and we do not have access to that CSS, so we cannot change it. It would be nice if it would honor things that are directly in the wordpress dashboard, such as hiding the site title/description, but it does not. Perhaps in the future this will happen, but I have no idea how difficult it would be. It might require a whole pile of theme modifications or additional code.

  3. That has actually changed recently.

You can apply CSS to the mobile theme by going to Appearance → Custom Design → CSS and making sure the "Mobile-compatible" setting is set to "Yes." Then you can target the mobile theme by starting your CSS selectors with

    body.mobile-theme
