   Hi
   I was getting overwhelmed with messages on my blog (which is great) but not so good for my personal in box, so I changed to a new email account. BIG MISTAKE.
   I had to reenter my new email and click on the new email link 5 times before it worked. I then lost my gravatar and after 3 or 4 tries I got it back... now I lost my blogs I follow. I didn't have a list of them and they are gone... I have gone and found a few (not easy btw) and hit follow, but they do not show up in my blogs I follow box either. (its been HOURS and I can't figure this out - HELP)

   Can someone tell me how to get my list back...? I hope it is not lost forever!

   Staff have posted here about the chnage to the default setting for following comments:

   The reported behavior of email notification for comments is not a bug. It is a new default setting when commenting.

   This feature was a recent change to the way comments work on all WordPress.com blogs.

   Once you click in the Leave a Reply comment box, you will see the "Notify me of follow-up comments via email" check box appear. Simply un-check this box before you submit your comment and you will not receive email notifications.

   If you ever forget to un-check the box you can always unsubscribe here:

   At the top of the page you will see:
   Sites | Comments | Settings

   You can manage your comment subscriptions under Comments.

   Thanks for the help, but the problem is not getting the notifications. I have turned OFF the tick box on my blog and leave it on checked as others.

   What I want to restore is the fact that when I changed my email address to a new one just to manage my blog so that I get notifications of blogs that I follow (each time they do a new post) is LOST. When I look at my list of blogs that I follow from my dashboard the page says.... you do not follow any blogs.

   I even follow my own blog so I can keep a copy of my work... and I wasn't emailed a notification that I posted.

   I went into a few blogs that I do follow and added them again and they STILL SO NOT show up on "Blogs that I Follow".

   The comments when people comment on my blog. or reply to me list is still there under comments I made, so why didn't the blogs I follow also carry over to the new email?

   It looks like you have 192 subscriptions.

   Do you see any of them at http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/
