Change Title Color and Size in Chunk

  1. Hi,

    I'm trying to change the color and the font size of the Title (bumfuzzle) on my site (www.bumfuzzle23.wordpress.com). I've done a bunch of css on other things that has worked fine, but can't seem to get these.

    Also, would like to try changing the main body font size. I think it is 13 now, would like to go to 14. Can't seem to find this code either.

    thanks for the help. I'm trying to move my site (bumfuzzle.com) over to wordpress and really appreciate the help.

    The blog I need help with is bumfuzzle23.wordpress.com.

  2. For the Site Title, you can change the color with this CSS:

    #site-title a {
        color: #3c768f;
        font-size: 120px;
    }

    As for the body font size:

    .entry-content {
        font-size: 14px;
    }

    Let me know how that works for you! :-)

  3. Thanks Bryan. The color of the site title still will not change. Though I've actually decided to leave it black, so it doesn't really matter now.

    One other question if you could. I have imported some posts from my current blog which had pictures that would show a border around them if there was a link to a larger picture on it. For instance a picture on the blog would be 658 pixels but if you clicked on it there was a larger 1400 pixel pic.

    Anyway, to get rid of those borders I figured out how to change the color of the border to white (same as my background). So now it looks fine (the border is hidden), but the problem isn't really solved. I'd rather get rid of picture borders all together. Can you tell me the code to do that?

    Thanks again for your help.

  4. The color of the site title still will not change.

    Hmm, I'll check with our developers since the #site-title code worked on my test blog, and I'll reply back about that.

    Can you reply with the URL of a post that displays your pictures with borders?

  5. Also, if you add the "a" tag to the site-title selector, and add an "!important" rule, your site title will display your desired text color:

    #site-title a {
    	color: #3c768f !important;
    }
