Changed height of featured image - Oxygen Theme

  1. Hi,

Does anyone know if I'm able to change the height of the featured images in the Oxygen Theme?

This is the page in question http://wavelengthmarketing.wordpress.com/blog/

My client wants the images on each blog post feed to be bigger in height so more of the image is seen, is this possible to change on wordpress hosted sites?

    Thanks in advance,

    Dan

  2. I'm afraid that it's not possible to change the height of the featured thumbnails. The thumbnail sizes are built into the theme, and WordPress automatically crops them to that size.

If you want more customization on that end, you can use Oxygen on a self-hosted WordPress.org site.

  3. Can either of you help with this?

    1) I activated the featured post sticky slider on my home page but want to get rid of the 'recent articles' and 'more articles' and have the footer areas right under the slider.

    2) If I leave widget area 2 blank - where the twitter and fb feed are currently located - the entire page distorts and content is moved there from the footer areas. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

    PLEASE HELP!

The blog I need help with is lyfstylevents.com.

  4. @lyfstylevents - You posted these questions in a separate thread, and I responded over there.

  5. @michiecat thanks for your reply, I thought it probably wasn't possible, but wanted to double check. I'll let my client know.

    Dan
