   How do I change the "about" description line on my home page? I can't find it on the dashboard or anywhere else. Also, can I change the name of my blog?

   The blog I need help with is ds000.wordpress.com.

   By default, About would appear under Pages.

   I think I'm having the same problem. On my blog The Canoe http://thecanoe.wordpress.com/, right under the title there's a description of the blog (starts with "this is a documentation of...", and I really want to change it but I've looked all over the dashboard and can't find it anywhere!

   I found it... it's under "general settings". I don't know why I never saw it the last two times I went through the entire dashboard...
