   I would like to create a vertical bar on top of my page, (about same height of my title) where I would put the social icons, since I'm not happy with the widget. On some navitators it's disproportionned, and the Google+ icon has a white square under it, so I would like to know if it's possible to do that, like they would not be part of a widget anymore.

   The blog I need help with is chefmignonnette.com.

   I'm not sure that's possible without monkeying with the HTML, which we can't do here.

   What you can do is put the HTML you would like to use into a text widget and then move it into place at the top of your blog using CSS and absolute positioning.

   Here is a very basic example to get you started:

   #text-10 {
   	position: absolute;
   	top: 0;
   	border: none;
   }

   P.S. The photos on your blog look fantastic! Makes me want to cook something… :)
