   I know this is a simple question, but I kept chasing answers and didn't get specifics...here goes:

   I want to change my blog from http://www.myblog.wordpress.com to http://www.myblog.com. How?

   I want to know if all the old links to the first will go to the second.

   http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/ you need $18 and these instructions.

   I also have to set up a new blog, and pay annually for that, right?

   Is the $18 a one-time fee?

   Will all the posts from my previous blog automatically go to the new blog.

   Basically, I want the same blog, just to change the URL and have links from the old URL go the new.

   Step by step, if I set up the new blog and pay the mapping, will everything be taken care of?
