changing color of mainbar and sidebar ?

    i know how to change the background but i want to know how to change the color of the mainbar and sidebar. i'm using the Chaoticsoul theme.

    Chaotic soul is a pain to work with since there are close to 15 or more things you with have to change in order to change the background color on the content and sidebar areas.

    My suggestion is to get the Firebug add-on for Firefox, spend a half hour or so working with it so that you can use it to start identifying the things you will have to change and then start changing.
