Changing colors in blog (sidebar and links) for Bueno theme

    I have the custom option and I'm trying to change the colors of a couple things in my Bueno themed blog:

    1) The lines under the widgets (and under the top categories). They are all red and I would like them to match the pink colors of the rest of the blog.

    2) the blogroll link colors (the names of the other blogs are all red)

    3) the tags and the continue reading are all red - I would like to change these as well.

    I'm sure these are all possible, but I haven't been able to figure it out by reading other posts - and I'm super new to CSS.

    Any help would be super appreciated! Thanks.

    The blog I need help with is vegetarianepicurean.com.

  2. Hi,

    Great recipes on your blog!

    From what I can tell if you change the color of the stuff in the sidebar to the same color pink it becomes to light to read. The lines under the widget could pass, but they fade away a bit. The text of the links becomes unreadable unfortunately.

    To change the colors for (3):

    <br /> .more-link {

  3. Oops, hit the wrong button there, the CSS for 3 is:

    .more-link a:link, .entry-tags a:link {
         color: #F7B4B6;
    }
    .more-link a:visited, .entry-tags a:visited {
        color: #F7B4B6;
    }

    It's really light though.

    If you want pink, I would maybe look for a bright/ darker pink for the sidebar. As well as maybe a darker link color.

    Some of the hovers would have to be changed as well, as they are red now.

    Can you use the 'Custom Design' function to see if you can get an idea of the colors and background you want? :-)

  4. 1) The lines under the widgets (and under the top categories). They are all red and I would like them to match the pink colors of the rest of the blog.

    Add this to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:

    .widget h3 {
    	border-color: #db5e90;
    }

    I picked a darker pink, but you can adjust it if you'd like.

  5. 2) the blogroll link colors (the names of the other blogs are all red)

    This also covers the blogroll links and the lines between the blogroll links:

    #sidebar a:link, #sidebar a:visited {
    	color: #db5e90;
    }

    .widget ul li a:link,
    .widget ul li a:visited {
    	border-color: #db5e90;
    }
  6. 3) the tags and the continue reading are all red - I would like to change these as well.

    Try this to get the 'continue reading' links color changed:

    a.more-link:link,
    a.more-link:visited {
        color: #F7B4B6;
    }

    Thank you so much!

  8. I'm also having a similar problem. I want to change the color and fonts of the headers in the sidebar to Dakota and white. Also, I'd like the unlinked text to white, not black/gray like it is currently.

    I have been searching the CSS for the code to change and this post has helped me the most so far from the forum. Any additional help would be very much appreciated!
