I can't seem to change the email address at the profile no matter what i tried.
here's what i did :
1.) change the email of the profile
2.) received confirmation mail at the new address
3.) clicked on the link
4.) back to the profile page, still with the old address.
is it a bug??

Send me the old and the new addresses through feedback and I'll get them switched for you.
Possibly. I would send in feedback from your dashboard and ask. There's not much us volunteers can do as we have no "backend" access.
